Kiponda B&B

The Kiponda Bed and Breakfast is a small hotel in a historic building from the 18th century. The Stone Town House is located near the harbour. The Forodhani Gardens and the House of Wonders are within walking distance.

The small accommodation was formerly run by a Dutch group, today it is run by 2 Tanzanian women. The renovation and preservation of this historic building is a great challenge. Thanks to the constant restoration, most of the 12 rooms now have their own modern bathroom. Thanks to its central location and good value for money, we recommend this hotel for younger guests who want to explore the winding streets of Stone Town and the active nightlife in the area.
