Rivertrees Country Inn

The Rivertrees Lodge is located just opposite Mount Meru Game Lodge on the Arusha – Moshi main road. This ‘Country Inn’ borders directly on the Usa River, which also gives its name to this part of Arusha. Thanks to the permanent supply of fresh water, the Jacaranda trees have grown into true giants. The property was formerly owned by the old-established German Trappe family, which has a long tradition in Arusha with roots into the former colonial period.

The rooms (“Garden Rooms”) are located in the main farmhouse and in the extensive gardens along the river. The 2 River Cottages offer private verandas and wood fires, a central farm house is suitable for families. The main focus is on comfortable accommodation. Each room is individually designed and furnished with its own character. Rivertrees Country Inn offers excellent country cuisine with fresh fruit, herbs and vegetables from our own garden. Thanks to the approximately 10 km² of land, beautiful walks with bird watching are possible.
