Lazy Lagoon Island Lodge

The Lodge has 12 beach bandas with en-suite bathrooms and two double beds and a “loft” upstairs with two single beds, ideal for older children. Each of the spacious bandas has an upstairs balcony and a veranda with unobstructed sea view and direct access to the beach. The dining and living area is spacious and airy, with high ceilings and cool wooden floors. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served here – every table with guaranteed sea view.

Lazy Lagoon is located 70 km north of Dar es Salaam, can be reached by boat from Bagamoyo (several times a day) and is open all year round. If wind and tide permit, guests can rent small laser sailing boats. At most times of the day, the lagoon is largely protected from onshore winds and is an ideal place to learn to sail. Kayaking and snorkeling are also available as activities.
