Balloon Camp Tarangire

The relatively new Balloon Camp Lodge is located in the south-eastern part of Tarangire National Park on the slopes of Boundary Hill. Each luxury tent is located in its own area, guests can choose to stay in a tent on the west or east side, depending on their preference, and experience a beautiful sunrise or sunset. The owners of the lodge also offer early morning hot air balloon rides in the National Park.

Each tent is tastefully decorated with lots of traditional materials and offers a large bathroom and a private veranda. Special mention must be made of the somewhat secluded swimming pool; this version, built as an endless pool, offers magnificent views of the Tarangire Plains. During the rainy season, special scent containers are installed around the lodge to repel annoying insects.
