Kisima Ngeda Tented Camp

The Lake Eyasi Tindiga Tented Camp is a beautiful lodge overlooking the plains of Lake Eysai. This small and intimate camp is located in a remote forest area and is part of a 200 hectare family farm with a natural spring nearby that flows into the seasonal soda lake Lake Eyasi. The word Kisima (Kiswahili) means spring, thanks to the permanent supply of fresh water this place is a real green oasis. A special feature is the swimming pool, which uses natural processes to avoid chlorine.

The lodge has only 10 luxury tents and offers a cosy atmosphere with personal service. The spacious rooms all have their own bathroom with shower and toilet. Each tent has a fantastic view over the lake. The lodge offers hunting with the Bushmen, visits to the Datoga tribe (a nomadic tribe in this area), bird watching tours, walking safaris and other cultural tours. The lodge also offers premium campsites, with their own forest clearing per guest group. From our point of view, the little known Kisima Ngeda is one of the most beautiful lodges in Tanzania, highly recommended!
