Kendwa Rocks

The Kwenda Rocks Beach Hotel is about an hour’s drive north of Zanzibar City. The choice of accommodation is wide: Luxurious wooden bungalow with private Jacuzzi, a spacious suite, family rooms or a coral stone bungalow. All rooms are surrounded by coconut trees and lush tropical gardens. There is also a large swimming pool in the center of the complex.

The lodge is best known for the full moon party that has been organized for more than 20 years. Once a month (usually on Saturdays) this party attracts a large crowd of tourists, locals and even guests from Dar es Salaam. Because of the proximity to Nungwi and Kendwa, Tanzania Experts recommends this lodge especially for guests who want to experience the nightlife in Zanzibar.
