Tindiga Tented Camp Lake Eyasi

DT/av_dropcap1]he Lake Eyasi Tindiga Tented Camp is a small lodge overlooking the plains of Lake Eysai. The camp is located on a hill overlooking the bushland of the Eyasi Ecosystem, Mount Masumbuku to the west and the Ngorongoro Highlands to the north. The seasonal soda lake Eyasi is only 1.5 km from the lodge.

The camp has 10 tents made of canvas in traditional style with its own veranda, and private bathroom (equipped with shower, toilet, sink, soap and towels). Since the camp was built with local building materials, it blends in beautifully with the natural environment and is run in an environmentally friendly way. The camp restaurant was built by Datoga women and reflects their culture and lifestyle. Staying at the Tindiga Tented Camp is a great way to get acquainted with the local culture.
