Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge

The Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge (sometimes called Kubu Kubu camp), which only opened in July 2016, is in a way the big luxurious brother of the Kati Kati Camp (also by TWC). This permanent camp is located on a gentle hill with a beautiful view over the Serengeti. Like Kati Kati Camp, this lodge offers a high density of wildlife all year round thanks to its central location in the Serengeti.

Kubu Kubu’s 25 tents are divided into 13 double bedrooms, two four-bed rooms and five family rooms (connected bedrooms). All tents have a terrace overlooking the Serengeti and have a large bathroom with a flush toilet, sink and an outdoor shower with hot water and a great view. Special mention must be made of the Infinity Pool (see photo), a rarity in the Serengeti. Despite its size, the camp has an intimate and cozy atmosphere, service levels and gastronomy are very good.
