The Tanzania Experts Team:
Jombi Kivuyo, the founder of Tanzania Experts, was born in a Maasai village and spent his childhood as a Maasai cattle herder. His early bush experience inspired him to pursue wildlife training courses in Tanzania. Jombi has over 20 years of experience as a safari guide. He gained valuable insight on guiding safaris with big commercial safari companies, and decided to start his own small boutique safari company to provide a more personal experience.
Renowned media companies had their (photo) Safaris guided by our founder Jombi. His knowledge and experience have attracted the likes of National Geographic, which continues to ask him to guide their expeditions in Tanzania. As a member of the Wildlife Conservation Society of Tanzania, Jombi always desires to enrich his knowledge of ecology. He looks forward to leading his guests in discovering the amazing ecology, wildlife and cultural heritage of Tanzania and Africa in general.
