The United Republic of Tanzania is one of the four most naturally diverse nations on earth: it contains Africa’s second largest number of bird species (around 1500), the continent’s biggest mammal population (including the famous Big Five) and 75 % of East Africa’s plant species (more than 10.000). The climate of Tanzania ranges from hot and humid on the coast, to a more temperate climate in the elevated center of the country.

Almost as multifaceted as the Tanzanian landscape are the people and their culture. Over 120 tribes with their own languages and traditions live together harmoniously in Tanzania. Go on a Safari with us to experience the beauty of Tanzania. Safari is an expression from the national language Swahili, it means journey. You will be picked up at the airport and go on safari in a well-kept and specially converted 4 × 4 off-road vehicle (Landrover Defender or Toyota Landcruiser). An excellent English speaking Safari guide will drive you to national parks and protected areas that you will remember for a lifetime.

The safari capital Arusha is situated at the foothills of Mount Meru, Tanzania's second-highest mountain after Kilimanjaro. In this photo, Mount Meru is shown with a snow-capped peak, a sight that is not uncommon during the rainy season.

Make your dream come true – climb the highest and most famous peak in Africa. Kilimanjaro is almost 6000 meters above sea level and is protected by the national park of the same name. During your mountain safari you can also learn a lot about the fauna and flora of this unique nature reserve.

To this day, traditional fishing boats (dhows) are in daily use on Unguja, the main island of the Zanzibar Archipelago.

But a visit to the mainland coast is also worthwhile – e.g. the city of Bagamoyo (also Bagamojo), which was founded at the end of the 18th century and served as the capital of the colony German East Africa.

We are more than satisfied with our two-week safari! What a unique and unforgettable experience. 😍
The planning of the route by Lisa was perfect and always adapted to our wishes and ideas, everything worked flawlessly, without problems and always very quickly. The selected accommodations were all more than perfect and we were fully taken care of. But someone who contributed the most to our unforgettable, beautiful wedding safari was our guide Ernest who accompanied us.

Wonderful honeymoon!

It was our honeymoon. 8 days Safari (Arusha, Tarangire, Serengeti, Manyara), absolutely amazing! We had the best time with our guide Elisante and had the pleasure to see all Big Five plus more! All Lodges/Camps were stunning with delicious food. Our favourite place was Jackal Lairs Camp in Serengeti. Lisa from Tanzania Experts was in contact with us all the time and welcomed us at our first evening in Arusha.
After safari we spent another 5 nights on Zanzibar at Milele Villas. Very remote, but great outdoor pool with beautiful nature and best food!! We recommend Tanzania Experts 100%
